Fairytale homes, shops, log cabins, football stadiums and enchanted castles have been created by children in Hoveton in a competition called Gingerbread Go.
All 230 children at St John's Primary School and nursery got the chance to bake flat-pack houses in school, thanks to local businesses donating ingredients. They then decorated them and turned them into their dream homes, with teachers setting different themes for each class.
There will be a grand display of the gingerbread homes and prizes in the school hall on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3.
It is part of a special Gingerbread Go! weekend of fun activities to raise money for the school.
Schoolchildren and visitors to Hoveton and Wroxham will be able to follow a Gingerbread Go! trail around the village seeking out the 3ft-high wooden gingerbread men and women decorated by local community groups and cluster schools.
The gingerbread people are hidden in shop windows and other locations. Each one contains a letter which forms a mystery phrase - if children and parents can decipher it they could win a family pass to Bewilderwood.
Previous gingerbread constructions include Elsa's castle from Frozen, a Tardis-house and the Fluffalo's house, a pink Gruffalo complete with feathers.
Even the occasional baking mishap has been rectified and turned into a construction site.
Rebecca Quinn, headteacher of St John's, said: 'The children got so enthusiastic about their gingerbread houses. it is lovely to see them baking and being so creative.'
Gingerbread Go! is being supported by local businesses including estate agents Minors and Brady, Tesco, and Oyster Yachts. Individual gingerbread figures are sponsored by other local businesses.
Proceeds from Gingerbread Go! will support additional school activities and equipment, including outside play equipment and a multifunctional new school stage.
Reagan Shipley, chairman of the PTA, said: 'All the local businesses really supported us with the first Gingerbread Go! last year. It created a lot of impact in the town and we're hoping this year will be even better.'
