A mixed set of GCSE results have been achieved in schools across north Norfolk.
Seventy-five pc of students at Sheringham High achieved at least a grade 4 in English and Maths.
Andrew Richardson, headteacher, said: "Huge congratulations to our students on a tremendous set of results across a wide range of subjects.
"Not only did particular subjects achieve some stunning results such as English, science, Maths, business, MFL, Tech and the Arts, but more than half of the whole cohort achieved the EBACC standard, ten students achieved five or more 8+ grades, and value added is exceptionally strong.
"We look forward to having these outstanding young people in our sixth form in September.
"Teaching and support colleagues deserve an enormous vote of thanks for their hard work, invention and dedication to our students' success and well-being."
Student Amy Lawson achieved seven 9s, two 8s and one 7, while Eliza Dolan achieved four 9s, three 8s and three 7s.
Logan Coatesworth, who lives in Thornage, added 1.5pc to the grades he previously received. He achieved one 9, three 8s, two 7s, two 6s and one 4.
He said: "I'm staying here next year to study biology, physics and maths. I'm absolutely pleased. I'm particularly glad that I passed French, as I find fluency extraordinarily difficult. I crumble in oral exams."
Maddie Piggott, from Aylmerton, achieved four 9s, three 8s and two 7s and her value added success was +2.88.
She will now study at Sir Isaac Newton school. She said: "It's an all-sciences college and I will study biology, chemistry and maths.
"I'm going to study to be a vet, as I'm really keen on animals, and have done work experience there. I didn't think that my grades would be as high as they are."
Robyn Templeman, from Sheringham, achieved three 9s, five 8s and two 7s. She said: "I'm going to Paston College and study maths, business and media. I want to head in to business. The results are better than I expected, so I'm chuffed."
Meanwhile, 68pc of students at Cromer Academy achieved at least a grade 4 in English and maths, compared to 61pc last year.
Principal Antony Little said: "We are thrilled that, once again, the results have risen at Cromer Academy. "The hard work of our brilliant students and committed staff have meant that we not only have an increase in English and maths but also a really strong Progress 8 score which shows that students do better at Cromer Academy, no matter what their starting point.
"Particularly pleasing is that the very top grades have been turbocharged and we have shown that our young people can achieve the very best outcomes and go on to do amazing things.
At Stalham High, 61pc of students achieved at least a grade 4 in English and maths.
Andrew Richardson, executive headteacher, said: "These are very good results for this small cohort and the school continues to add value from the students' starting points.
"We are especially pleased with science, art, French and the core subjects, and that over a quarter of students scored the full EBACC qualification. The hard work of our students and staff is to be commended and we are proud to have prepared them well for their next steps."
Student Sarah Utting achieved three 9s, four 8s and two 7s.
Aylsham High School had a 1pc difference in grades 9 to 4 in English and maths with 77pc hitting the benchmark.
Duncan Spalding, executive headteacher: "Once again our wonderful community of students and teachers has enjoyed another very successful year of examination results. We are thrilled that so many of our young people in the Class of 2019 have secured the qualifications that they need for the next stage of their educational adventure.
"They leave Aylsham High not only with great grades but also having had the chance to enjoy a really rich and varied curriculum, and having had access to a fabulous array of extra-curricular opportunities.
"It has been an absolute pleasure working with our students and watching them grow into impressive young adults.
"It remains a privilege to lead such a vibrant, inclusive, caring, and consistently successful school community."
Many pupils from Aylsham High are heading to private schools on a scholarship to continue their education.
Abi Durand, 16, who achieved all 9 and 8 grades said: "I feel so relieved and happy with my results. I had high targets but I didn't think I would actually make them.
"I'm going to Nandos to get free chicken after this."
Alderman Peel High School saw in increase in 4-9 grade with 65pc of students achieving them.
This compares to the 60pc pupils achieved last year.
Alastair Ogle, Principal of the school, said: "Congratulations to all of our students who have made fantastic progress and achieved such great results.
"We are really pleased to see that attainment has risen again, providing all of our students with the qualifications they need for the next stage of their education or training.
"The hard work of students, staff, governors and the support of our local community is without doubt a winning combination. We are thrilled."
North Walsham High School saw their percentage of pupils achieving 9 to 4 grades drop by 16pc.
The GCSE 9-4 pass rate at Gresham's in Holt was 93pc.
Gresham's headmaster Douglas Robb said: "Once again, the Gresham's GCSE cohort has achieved an excellent set of exams results and, on behalf of the entire school, I would like to send them all a huge congratulations! Pupils have worked incredibly hard - not just during exam season but throughout the school year - and they should be extremely proud of all they have achieved. We hope the pupils and their families are enjoy celebrating."
