Don't have the holiday budget of Kim Kardashian? Norfolk holds five holiday spots to explore without breaking the bank.

King's Lynn

Without being biased (as it's my home town), the northwest Norfolk town has a fascinating history, and this is apparent in the old town area with beautiful medieval buildings to boast. Just half an hour away from the coast and 15 minutes away from the Queen's residence in Sandringham, King's Lynn is a treasure for a wide variety of people.

Rough price guide: Double room from £60 per night.

Wells

A charming seaside town between Hunstanton and Cromer, it is the perfect quaint getaway for those who love the seaside but with less tourists around. Close to the stunning grounds of Holkham Hall for a day out to spot the wildlife, Wells-Next-The-Sea is for the low-key holiday.

Rough price guide: Double room from £90 per night and selling fast.

Thetford

It is famous for its forest and Elveden Center Parcs, which is great for an adventurous day out. There is also an awesome swimming pool.

Rough price guide: Double room from £55 per night.

Burnham Market

Burnham is famous in North Norfolk for its luxurious shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. One of the best ways to experience this area of Norfolk is to rent a yurt in the Deepdales. It's way more comfy than a tent and looks really cool to live in for a week. Make sure to bring your own cooking equipment.

Rough price guide: Yurts from £120 based on two night booking.

Great Yarmouth

Who could forget the town which epitomises the idea of the seaside? With caravans and B&Bs absolutely everywhere, you'll find somewhere to suit your tastes. There are shopping opportunities and relaxing possibilities everywhere. If you like the hustle and bustle and the idea of being a proper tourist, Great Yarmouth is for you. Double rooms from £50 per night.

Have a great summer!
