With many changes to the education system happening in the next few years, what will be the impacts on young people?

I have been lucky to be in the last year that the majority of changes will miss. However, my siblings are going to be facing these changes and I worry for them.

One of the changes is that there will be no controlled assessments, and this will mean that all of people's school life will be judged on a 100pc exam at the end of their GCSE. But is this right? When asked in parliament, education secretary Michael Gove failed to answer GCSE exam questions, and he says they are easy! Are you sure?

Exams cause stress levels in young people to be extremely high, but coursework and controlled assessments can help to relax the stresses because young people know they have some part of their grade already completed. Without these they will worry more about the exams and stress will be higher.

Another change is that there will be fewer subjects to choose from because some are being cut. Some of these are things like home economics and environmental science.

So overall there are many changes to the education system, but I can only mention a few.

If you are a young person and face these changes then please tell us your views by using #futurevoices. Do you agree with the changes or do you have ideas of what should be changed? We would love to hear from you.
