A Dereham high school recently welcomed a group of foreign students to the town as part of a European education programme.
The group of six students from the Czech Republic came to the town for two weeks of international work experience for a project involving Dereham Neatherd High School.
It was funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
Alzbeta Rudolfova, one of the students, said: 'I have really enjoyed my time in Dereham, all the people were so nice to us. I love England and can't wait to visit again.'
The youngsters from Neatherd's partner school, Business Academy Lysá nad Labem, near Prague, completed work experience at local schools and companies, which included doing administrative tasks and finding out how English businesses are run.
Headteacher of Neatherd Chris Smith said: 'We are very happy to be a part of this very worthwhile EU funded project, especially during the current times. It is important to show that Britain still has strong links to other European countries.'
