Sessions are being held to help parents understand new procedures around support for children with complex needs.

The Norfolk SEN Network will hold two sessions in June to help parents understand the new annual review procedures around Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

The plans are for children and young people aged up to 25, and formally set out the support and guidance they need.

The group says the annual reviews for EHCPs are different to that of statements, an older version of EHCPs.

Two trainers from London will hold the sessions, the first of which will be held on June 4 at Poringland Community Centre.

The second, on June 9, will be held at the Costessey Centre.

Sessions cost £10, which includes refreshments and lunch.
