Children at Norwich Primary Academy, on Clarkson Road, met Father Christmas and two of his reindeer helpers when they visited on Monday.

Each of the classes took turns to feed carrots to the reindeer, and received gifts of chocolates, sweets, and popcorn.

The event was organised by the Inspiration Trust school’s Helen Carr, who said: “Christmas is a very happy time for most people but for some of our children it can be more difficult.

“We wanted to make sure that they could all take part in the celebrations, and what better way than to meet Father Christmas and his reindeer?
