Author, illustrator, political cartoonist and children's laureate Chris Riddell went back to the classroom this week to talk to students about his life, his work, drawing Donald Trump and his baptism into social media.

He visited the College of West Anglia (CWA) Wisbech campus as part of his role as laureate which is awarded every two years to a writer or illustrator of children's books to celebrate outstanding achievement in their field. Mr Riddell was awarded the title in June 2015 for his exceptional talent in writing and illustration for works including The Edge Chronicles, a children's book series co-written with Paul Stewart and illustrated by Mr Riddell.

Mr Riddell who is also a political cartoonist said: 'I like to come into colleges like CWA as their students are the future, they will be doing what I'm doing in 10-15 years' time so it is great to talk to them at the beginning of their careers.'
