In the final part of our week-long Back to School series, education correspondent Martin George recorded a podcast with Brian Conway, chairman of the Norfolk Secondary Education Leaders group, about the year ahead for education in the county.
Mr Conway, who is also headteacher of Notre Dame High School in Norwich, reflected on how next May's general election is causing uncertainty for schools, especially those that offer A-levels.
He also talked about changes to the Ofsted inspection regime, which came into effect this month, following volatility in the GCSE system which affected several local schools' results last month.
