Ashwicken Church of England Primary School continues to be a good school following a recent Ofsted inspection.
The report stated the school is a 'haven of calm and cooperation' with pupils making good progress in english and maths and engaging in a good range of extra-curricular activities.
In a letter by Ofsted inspector Maria Curry to headteacher Sue Collison, the school was praised for maintaining the good quality of education since their last inspection in 2012, particularly on improving reading skills of their pupils.
Mrs Collison said: 'Everyone is delighted that the findings are so positive. It was recognised that our school has a really happy family ethos where every child's needs are met. I am very proud of the staff and governors for creating such a vibrant and inspiring learning environment where there are always new initiatives going on to engage and challenge our children.'
