Every child at St Michael's CofE Academy, in South Lynn, made an item for the display. There were King John Cups and Nelson hats, fairground rides and mayoral robes and models and illustrations of some of Lynn's most famous buildings.

Emma Scarisbrick, headteacher at the 208-pupil school, said: 'We started this at the end of June so we've done two or three weeks of work on it. All the children have been to a local museum or a place and they've done work ouside focussed on history.'
