We've done it! Our hearts can return to a normal pace, those we live with can be given a well-earned rest from the constant 'will we, won't we?' speculation, and we can all look forward to the biggest party ever at Carrow Road this weekend.

Paul Lambert said after the dramatic 3-2 win over Derby that no one could possibly have foreseen the club being in such a position in its first season back in the Championship. He wasn't joking. Anyone who had predicted the Canaries securing automatic promotion this time around would have had a visit from the men in white coats. With the finances at our disposal compared with those of others, including those in receipt of parachute payments, and the club having only just clambered out of League One, it was surely too much to ask.

But Paul Lambert and his players have proved that it's not all about money. Self-belief, drive and talented players who play as a unit can carry you a long way. The result? A roller-coaster ride that at times has been as exhilarating as it's been heart-stopping and some of the most memorable matches in our proud history. Not only has this team risen to one big occasion, it's given us a whole season of them. Roll on the Premier League.
