Police are warning drivers to take care on Norfolk's roads as temperatures plummeted to below freezing overnight.
Parts of the county saw the mercury drop to almost -3C on Friday night, while Suffolk experienced lows of -4.5C.
Meteorologist Dan Holley, from the Norwich-based forecaster Weatherquest, said for some areas it was the coldest night since late January.
In Cavendish, Essex, it dropped to -4.7C, while in Marham, Norfolk, overnight temperatures were at -2.9C.
Meanwhile, Stanton Downham, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, experienced lows of 4.5C.

Police said on social media: 'It's absolutely freezing this morning! Please take care on the icy roads on your journeys. Who turned the freezer on!?'
And Sgt Chris Harris tweeted: 'Clear and defrost your windscreen, plus front windows before you set off and don't leave your car unattended while doing this.
'No letterboxes or drivers thinking they're tank commanders please'
Weatherquest said Saturday is likely to be a 'crisp, but clear' day, with temperatures reaching highs of just 6C.
Chris Bell, forecaster, said freezing temperatures were likely to return overnight, with some places seeing lows of -2C.
Sunday is forecast to be another cold day, but with the chance of showers in the afternoon.
Mr Bell said there could be rain on Sunday night and into Monday morning. Temperatures on Monday are forecast to be around 8C.
