The A12 and A145 will be busy around Henham Park this morning and again on Sunday night/Monday morning, warn Latitude festival organisers.

Festival-goers will be heading to and from the Latitude site throughout the weekend, with peak traffic likely on the northbound A12 and southbound A145 during late morning and afternoon today, and again tomorrow morning.

Temporary 30mph limits and no stopping orders will be in force near the gates all weekend.

The campsite opens at 2pm today, and the arena at around 5pm.

Over the weekend, those with day tickets will also be making their way to and from the site, creating further congestion.

Rail passengers are advised to travel to Diss, where there will be festival shuttle buses running back and forth to the site.

Most traffic departs from Henham Park late on Sunday or early Monday – with queues likely on the A12, particularly southbound, and southbound on the A145.

Campers must leave the site by 5pm on Monday at the latest.

On Monday, traffic lights will be in operation at the A145/A12 junction, and where Middle Barn Lane meets the A12.

A one-way system will be in place from Henham Quarry to the A145 junction. The top of Middle Barn Lane will be closed other than for residents.
