Police are appealing for witnesses after a male driver suffered serious head injuries following a collision in Tivetshall St Margaret in south Norfolk.

The crash happened on Saturday, February 20 at about 6.55am on the B1134 Station Road when a silver Ford Fiesta travelling from The Pulhams towards Attleborough left the roadside, coming to rest in a ditch.

The driver, aged in his mid-20s, suffered serious head injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where he remains in a critical condition.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and enquiries were carried out. It was re-opened at about 10am.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information concerning the driving manner of the vehicle prior to the incident.
