A driver was hospitalised with serious injuries after colliding with a tree near Swaffham last night.
Fire fighters cut the driver out of their grey Toyota Corolla after the crash on Narford Road, near Hall Farm Cottages, Narford, at about 10.40pm yesterday, Thursday March 15.
An ambulance crew treated the driver, whose injuries were not life threatening, at the scene, before taking them to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.
Fire crews from Swaffham, Massingham and King's Lynn were called after reports the car was smoking, and were working at the scene until 11.33pm.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
