A woman in her 60s escaped major injury after a serious crash on the A11 at Attleborough which saw her car roll onto its roof.
Emergency services were called to the two-car crash, which involved a white Mercedes van and a silver Peugeot, at about 9.50am today.
It is thought that the woman had broken down by the side of the road when her car was hit from behind.
The car rolled with her still inside - but she miraculously suffered just chest pains, which are not believed to be serious.
A photo from Norfolk Police shows the huge damage to the back of the car.
She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by ambulance.
The Norwich-bound carriageway between Breckland Lodge roundabout and the B1077 junction was closed this morning.
