An illustrated talk is being held on the wildlife of Madagascar, with a particular emphasis on dragonflies.

The talk, titled Wild Madagascar, will be given by Dr Pam Taylor to Wymondham Nature Group on Thursday, May 10.

Dr Taylor was part of a group of dragonfly enthusiasts from around the world who found five species of dragonfly totally new to science, and photographed many others for the first time.

The primary aim of the trip was to search for and photograph as many of Madagascar's dragonflies as possible so that an expert on both European and African dragonflies called KD Dijkstra could produce a guide for Madagascan naturalists.

The talk will be held at 7.30pm at the Town Green Centre in Wymondham. Admission is £2.
