Norwich Castle and Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, in Dereham, have both won an award recognising their educational programmes.
The Sandford Awards were established by Lord Sandford in 1978 and were designed to encourage those responsible for running heritage buildings to provide accessible and exceptional educational schemes.
In this year's comments, the judges said: 'Norwich Castle Learning Service provides excellent stimulating sessions for schools at all key stages and informal visits are rewarded with a wealth of absorbing activities.
'Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse Museum provides excellent teaching in a wonderful heritage environment, as pupils learn about current issues while experiencing a step back into the history of Norfolk.'
The awards will be presented by TV historian Dr Lucy Worsley on November 23 at a ceremony in Bath.
