A minion stole the show at tonight's event - but can you spot yourself in our gallery?

The annual event attracts crowds of up to 3,000 people who admire the show, which includes singing performances from children from Nelson Academy and Hillcrest Primary School.

Maureen Hibling, from Sew Inn, who is very much involved with organising the lights, said: 'It's wonderful to see so many people in the town and we're always looking for volunteers to help put up the lights.

Earlier in the day, around 50 Santas took part in the annual fun run sponsored by estate agent Morris Armitage.
