The two events for St Peter and St Paul's Church, Knapton, raised £1,800.

Money is needed to restore the building's 15th century double hammer-beam roof with 138 carved and painted angels.

The total cost of repairs is £260,000 and so far £7,000 has been raised and £206,000 has been earmarked through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

A rock concert starring the Rt Rev Jonathan Meyrick, the Bishop of Lynn, was staged.

The second fundraiser was a

heritage weekend including an exhibition of how the First World War affected Knapton and vintage tractors.

Previous fundraisers have included an in-conversation event with actor Ross Kemp who has connections with the village.
