Vandals damaged the front door of Dereham's Scout hut over the weekend.
The building at South Green had been let for a party and at some point between Saturday at 6pm and 12.30am the following day the door was damaged.
The exit hand rail to the door was broken off, the letter box had been pulled off and the door handle itself had been broken away.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information surrounding the damage should contact PC Jonathan Cole at Dereham police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
