Two-and-a-half-year-old tri-coloured terrier cross Millie is on the search for her new happy home.

Kate Brewster, Dogs Trust Snetterton supporter relations officer, said: 'Maybe not quite as well known as Millie 'the most famous dog in White House history' but we're sure she's just as lovely. Arriving into the centre as a stray, Millie is a very shy girl who has clearly not seen much of the big wide world; therefore, she is looking for a quiet, relaxed home environment, with a patient family.

'This little lady would benefit from the consistency of a daily routine and gentle socialisation. While the guidance and reassurance of an existing calm and settled dog could help make Millie's transition to her new home easier, it's by no means essential if her new family allow her the time she needs to settle in and familiarise herself with her new environment. At the moment, she is lacking in confidence but we're sure that, with a family who love her and can help her confidence develop, she will become a great addition to the family.'
