If you are looking for the perfect gentleman in your life, look no further, as 10-year-old crossbreed Spike could give Mr Darcey a run for his money on manners and good company.
Don't be misled by his maturer years though, as he is still a puppy at heart.
Kate Brewster, Dogs Trust Snetterton supporter relations officer, said: 'Spike is appropriately named because of his very cool Mohican-style hair down the back of his head and neck.
'This handsome hound is young at heart, and certainly does not act his age; if he could spend all day playing, he would. He loves fetch games with a tennis ball, and has football skills the England team would be proud of!
'Spike is a real sweetie who would love to be the only dog in an adult home so he could be appreciated and enjoy one-to-one attention with his new family.
'A sweet-natured soul, Spike loves friends, and will become a faithful companion in no time. Ever the content canine, Spike would be very grateful for a couple of nice walks a day and a cosy bed to curl up on with some toys afterwards.'
