A dog ended up with more than it bargained for after becoming trapped in a pond in Norwich today.
Firefighters were called to a house in Bowthorpe Road to free the Alsatian following reports that it had become trapped.
One crew from Earlham attended the incident.
They spent around 10 minutes manually freeing the large animal from the water following the emergency call at 6.40am today.
It is not clear how the dog became stuck.
