A dog was rescued by firefighters this afternoon after a blaze broke out at a house in Ostend, near Happisburgh.
Crews from Stalham and North Walsham were called to the property in Ostend Gap at 4.50pm after a fire broke out in the kitchen. They rescued a dog from the house but no one was reported to have been inside.
Firefighters used hoses, supplemented by water from a hydrant, to extinguish the flames and fans to clear the area of smoke.
