A dog owner has spoken of her horror after saying she saw her tiny chihuahua killed in front of her by another dog.
Tracey Daniels, 54, was walking her three dogs in Belton on Saturday when her two-year-old dog was attacked.
She rushed her beloved animal to the vets but despite their attempts to revive him, nothing could be done to save him.
She added: 'I can't explain how I felt. I'm trying to be strong.'
Mrs Daniels said that she was out for a walk with her two other dogs, a Staffordshire bull terrier and Rolo's mum, a chihuahua-Yorkshire terrier cross.
Another dog, which was not on a lead, bolted towards her dogs, which were all on their leads.
The mother-of-six and grandmother of nine said the other dog took Rolo in its mouth and shook him about.
