Dog deters Diss burglar

A burglar was left empty handed after being chased away by the victim's dog.
Detectives are appealing for information following the break-in that took place in the early hours of Tuesday in Diss.
The offender broke in through a patio door at the property in Victoria Road at about 4.30am, but fled after being disturbed by the householder's dog.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have spotted any suspicious behaviour in the days leading up to the burglary
