Doctors and health staff met with charity volunteers to discuss how they can work together.

Over 65 health care providers from the voluntary, charitable, and commercial sectors gathered at The Prom Hotel in Great Yarmouth to build relationships and gain a better understanding of what each other can offer discussing this with the 15 GPs in attendance to better help patients.

The event attracted high level speakers including Melanie Craig the new leader of Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group and Great Yarmouth MP Brandon Lewis provided the closing speech.

Event organiser Trevor Saunders of East Norfolk Medical Practice Patient Participation Group said: 'this is our second such event this year and we are delighted with the response we have had from all involved.'

The next event will be on the 31st of May and open to the public, details to follow.
