An appeal has gone out to community minded residents in the Great Yarmouth area who want to keep their streets safe from speeding motorists.
PC Hannah Gardiner of the Great Yarmouth Speed Enforcement Team is looking for people to sign up to or set up Community Speed Watch teams.
The officer says there is interest in Martham in setting up a team if six volunteers can be found.
PC Gardiner and a team of special constables carried out speed checks in Gorleston, Martham and Hemsby over a two and half hour period, leading to one driver being reported for speeding and another person given words of advice.
Anyone who wants to set up or join a Community Speed Watch team in the Great Yarmouth area can contact PC Gardiner by calling her on 01493 333075 or on 0781 8014150.
