Police are appealing for information after a balaclava-clad man appeared inside a house in Ditchingham, near Bungay.
The intruder was heard opening the rear door of a house in Hollow Hill Road at 8.05pm on Friday. When the occupant went to check he saw the man standing inside the door, before running off.
The intruder is described as about 5ft 9in tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a plain black coat, blue denim jeans, a black pair of trainers and a light brown woollen hat pulled down over his face with eye holes in it.
Officers are appealing for information and reminding people to keep their doors locked while in their homes.
