The Rotary Club of Diss and District has held a successful membership evening at the Park Hotel and given a boost to an armed forces charity at the same time.
Thirty guests and prospective members were invited to the evening to hear about the numerous projects that have been set up and completed by the club in the community and internationally over the last year and also to learn about the group's plans for the future.
The evening ended with a talk from Duncan Slater, from Scole, about his work with the charity Walking With the Wounded.
A tombola on the evening raised £600 for the charity.
