Police in Diss are hunting for a thief who stole money from a parking meter by drilling into it.

The theft happened between Friday, November 6 and Sunday, November 8 at a car park in Park Road.

The door to the parking meter was drilled open and the cash box containing £52 was stolen from inside.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the car park, or who has any information about this incident, is asked to contact PC Peter Partridge at Diss Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
