A Norfolk museum still needs to find 3,600 for urgent repairs to its structure after being given 2,000 by a local council.
Diss Town Council agreed to give the grant to the town's Grade II listed museum in Market Place last week, but the Rev Frank Howard, chairman of the museum's trustees, said an extra 3,600 would be needed to cover the cost of repairs to the roof and redecoration to the outside of the building. Pillars which had rotted away have been repaired.
To donate, send money to Mr Howard at 55, Heywood Avenue, Diss, IP22 4DN.
