A CAREERS event for youngsters interested in training and employment in the arts and media will take place at the Diss Corn Hall next week.
Speakers from across East Anglia and London will converge on the venue for the conference-style event, which will give 15 to 18-year-olds a taste of the range of options offered by the creative sector in the region.
The free 'Start with the Arts' event will take place at the hall on Wednesday.
Youngsters will be able to hear from the likes of a former producer of the BAFTAs, an award-winning young film director, community artists, record label managers and producers and the founder of a major publishing house, as well as a host of other speakers.
They will also be able to speak to representatives of colleges and universities including City College Norwich, the University of East Anglia and Norwich University College of the Arts.
