A tourist attraction has reopened after a month of no public access.
The floating boardwalk on Diss Mere, part of the £3.4m Heritage Triangle project, closed in early September while work was carried out to fell the large dead willow tree overhanging the walkway.
An assessment carried out by a tree surgeon on behalf of Diss Town Council warned the tree posed a danger to the public and advised the boardwalk be closed until it could be removed.
However as of today (Wednesday, September 10) the boardwalk has been reopened.
A post on Diss Town Council's Facebook page said: 'Good news! The overhanging tree has now been removed and the boardwalk is now fully open and accessible to the public from both ends. We thank you all for your patience.'
The tree took several weeks to remove as the land it was on is privately owned, so permission had to be granted to fell it.
