An auction room company raised more than £6,000 for charity to show support for a worker whose daughter suffers from allergies.

TW Gaze Auction Rooms in Diss chose to support Allergy UK throughout 2016 because auctioneer Rob Kinsella's daughter Evie suffers from many severe and life-threatening allergies - the worst being to dairy, which she suffered an anaphylactic reaction to when she was just six months old.

'Allergy UK has been priceless in supporting and educating not just this family but thousands throughout the UK and the work and advice they offer at a very confusing and scary time in people's lives is priceless,' a spokesman for TW Gaze said.

Staff at the firm opted to take part in a parachute jump from 13,000ft at Beccles, while several staff also took on The Great North Run.

There were many other charity events, enabling TW Gaze to send a cheque to Allergy UK for £6,801.59.
