There were lengthy traffic delays yesterday evening after a motorcyclist skidded on a patch of diesel on a major route into and out of Norwich.
The accident happened at the junction of Dereham Road and Longwater Lane, Costessey, just before 3.50pm. After hitting the diesel, the motorcycle went under a lorry.
The male rider was not seriously injured but was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment. However, there were lengthy delays as the spill was cleaned up, with long queues into and out of the Queens Hills housing estate.
