A man who died when his car plunged into a water-filled ditch has been named as 32-year-old Andrew Jarvis, of Marshland St James, near Wisbech.
Mr Jarvis was on his way to work at Palm Paper when his car left the road at St John's Fen End on Tuesday, November 24.
Police were called just after 7.25am to reports of a Volkswagen vehicle in a water-filled ditch at Gravel Bank.
Emergency services attended and Mr Jarvis was discovered inside the vehicle.
Efforts were made to resuscitate him, however he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
In a statement released by the police, Mr Jarvis' family paid tribute to him as 'a hard-working fiancé, daddy, son, brother, uncle and cousin'.
The family said they were 'devastated' by his tragic death, and added that he was 'the kindest, caring and most easygoing man anyone could have had the pleasure of knowing and loving'.
Following the incident, the road was closed in both directions for about five hours.
An inquest will be opened into his death in due course.
