A mop up operation is underway at a town centre clothing store after the shop floor was flooded.
Staff at New Look in the Nelson Precinct in Dereham have had to close the store, just as its popular sales event has got under way, after finding the heavy rain had flooded into the building when they turned up to work this morning.
They hope to open later today but have been told to keep the store closed for the time being due to a risk of customers slipping.
Dereham town centre is quieter than usual for this time of year, as rain has now turned to snow and sleet showers, and shoppers appear to be staying at home.
