Construction work costing 225,000 on the B1108 at Carbooke is likely to cause delays for motorists over the next few weeks.

Minor work on kerbs in the village near Watton is due to start next week and the road will be resurfaced from Tuesday, May 8.

The construction area will be from approximately 50 metres east of Summer Lane to the junction with Cuckoo Lane. The work is due to be completed on Friday, May 18.

A localised traffic signal control will be used during the work on the kerbs and traffic will be controlled using temporary signals with a convoy system during the resurfacing stage.

A 10 mph speed limit will be put in place during the construction period.

Drivers will be able to access homes and businesses within the work area, although it is inevitable that there will be some disruption. Norfolk County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
