Rail passengers were facing long delays on the line between Lowestoft and Norwich tonight after a fault at the Reedham swingbridge.The 6.48pm service from Lowestoft got as far as Somerleyton before being turned back and passengers transferred to buses or taxis.

The 6.48pm service from Lowestoft got as far as Somerleyton before being turned back and passengers transferred to buses or taxis.
A spokesman for Network Rail said there were fears the bridge was not properly locked in to place and engineers were on the way to carry out checks. She was unable to say
how long the issue would take to resolve.
