Delays on A11 at Snetterton due to broken down tractor

Emergency services were called to reports that a tractor has blocked the A11.

Police and firefighters went the scene - at Snetterton - at just after 9.30am today.

Norfolk police tweeted that officers were heading to a 'report of a tractor obstructing the carriageway', while Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew from Attleborough.

It turned out to be a broken-down tractor on the southbound carriageway. It led to delays for drivers - including Norwich City supporters heading to London for the clash with Tottenham Hotspur - but the services of firefighters were not needed.

The road was cleared by 11.30am.
