Police are having to direct traffic along Reepham Road in Hellesdon because of an accident.
There is slow traffic in both directions at the Middleton's Lane Junction and drivers have been warned of delays.
Two cars had collided, with one stranded in the middle of the carriageway. No injuries have been reported.
