Norfolk police have warned motorists in the Kings Lynn area that delays on certain routes should be expected this morning as two abnormal loads pass through the town.

Police said: 'Motorists are advised that they may experience delays as two abnormal loads travel through the county on December 3 at 9am with a police escort.

'The 4.8m wide, 32.7m long and 4.9m tall heat exchange unit weighing 192,400kg will move from Alexandra Dock, King's Lynn to King's Lynn Power Station, Saddlebow.'

The route the loads will travel is as follows: Local Roads – Central Rd – Edward Benefer Way – A1078 – A148 – A149 – A47 – Local Roads to Site.

Delays can be expected along these routes.
