Delays as two cars crash on Mile End Road

Drivers are being asked to avoid Mile End Road following an accident.

An Alfa Romeo and another car crashed near to the junction with Unthank Road in Norwich shortly before 4pm today.

Police said one person was injured in the accident.

A fire engine from Earlham was called to the scene, where crews provided casualty care and made the scene safe.
