Police have warned members of the public not to approach wanted criminal Alan Piesse if they see him.
Piesse, 34, is wanted for breaching his licence having last been seen leaving a taxi on Ber Street, Norwich, at about 12.17pm yesterday. Piesse had been at Norwich Crown Court earlier that morning for sentencing for threats to commit criminal damage.
The sentence was deferred by the judge who released him on licence with conditions that he conforms to a probation period including travelling immediately to the hostel in Lincolnshire where he lives, contacting the hostel hourly, not entering Yarmouth and Gorleston and not approaching three named individuals.
Yesterday Norfolk police launched its force helicopter to help in the search for Piesse.
When last seen he was wearing a dark T-shirt with a Lacoste motif on the chest, blue jeans, white trainers and dark blue zip up jacket. He had a large black holdall.
Members of the public should not approach him but should call the police by dialling 999.
