The deadline is approaching for applications to an educational foundation.
The Taylor and Hammond Educational Foundation trustees meet twice a year in order to distribute funding to young people.
Last year, over �20,000 was distributed amongst young people to help with costs such as university expenses, hairdressing equipment, veterinary medicine books and equipment, Duke of Edinburgh award expenses, childhood studies, tourism management, sports equipment, catering equipment.
Trustees consider applications from any person under 25 years old living in the Diss area and who attended schools in Diss.
Applications will only be accepted on the official application form and this is obtainable from the clerk to the trustees, Pat Simms, of 3 Riverside, Norfolk IP22 4BE.
The deadline for applications is September 6.
