Dance Estelle, the Hippodrome's children's dance company performed its end of term show at the weekend to capacity audiences.

The sell out shows on June 25 and 26, showcased Estelle's students from three years old through to adults, who performed performances incorporating all styles of dance including commercial jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap and hip-hop, as well as circus skills.

More than 200 children took part in the extravaganza that is looked forward to by not only the children, but by their families too.

Many of Estelle's friends and past students helped with the choreography including Becky Foyle, Tamara Bustos and Zoe Davis and one of the Hippodrome's professional aerialists, Nikki Ioncesu, taught a gym number to students and performed her silks act. Two new awards for most improved students went to Sophie Miller and Liam Sherwood.
