A cyclist suffered serious head injuries after a collision with a van on a busy rural road.
The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge following the crash, which happened on the A134 Bury Road at Barnham, south of Thetford, yesterday (Tuesday, September 19) at around 6.35am.
He was travelling from Thetford towards Barnham when the crash occurred with a white Mercedes Sprinter van travelling in the same direction.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident, should contact Sergeant Peter Howlett at Swaffham Roads Policing Unit on 101.
